Banana Nut Bread
This tasty loaf made from basic ingredients bakes up nice and fluffy but not too sweet.

Ingredients

cup
sugar
8
tbsp
softened butter
2
large eggs
1½
cups
mashed ripe bananas
½
cup
milk

tsp
vanilla
2½
cups
unbleached
all-purpose flour

tsp
baking soda
½
tsp
salt
½
cup
chopped almonds, walnuts or pecans
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉
Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan
Cream the sugar and the butter using a mixer until well blended
Add the eggs, bananas, vanilla and milk and stir until well blended
Stir in the baking soda, salt and four and blend well
Stir in the chopped nuts
Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake for about 1 hr 15 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean
Notes
Top with whipped cream or the topping of your choice.
