Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Want to add some pizzazz to those boring mashed potatoes. Garlic lovers can’t resist this combination, accented with tidbits of toasted garlic and nicely balanced with sour cream and parsley.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 Russet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 garlic clove finely chopped
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp table cream

Instructions

  • Peel, cube and boil the potatoes until tender
  • Place the butter and garlic in a small bowl, cover and microwave for 1 minute
  • Drain the potatoes and mash them
  • Add the garlic butter, sour cream, cream, parsley and garlic salt to the potatoes
  • Use an electric mixer to blend the potato mixture until smooth
