French Apple Pie

If you’re in an apple growing region, why not take a ride out to the country this fall and visit an orchard. Pick up some hand picked cooking apples like Lobo or Cortland, and get inspired to bake a pie after savouring a glass of fresh pressed apple cider. Since I’m not a huge fan of making pie crusts, this recipe lets you off the hook by using a crumbly topping.
